HubSpot Migration¶
Migrate your entire CRM from HubSpot to Outsprint with a guided, step-by-step wizard. The migration preserves your contacts, companies, deals, tickets, custom properties, and pipeline configurations.
Before You Start¶
- You need Admin access in both HubSpot and Outsprint
- The HubSpot integration must be connected in Settings > Connected Apps (the wizard will guide you if it is not)
Migration Steps¶
Step 1: Connect¶
The wizard checks for an existing HubSpot connection. If your account is already connected, you will see the HubSpot portal name and ID. If not, you will be directed through the OAuth authorization flow.
Step 2: Select Data¶
Choose which entity types to import. The wizard scans your HubSpot account and shows the record count for each type:
- Contacts
- Companies
- Deals
- Tickets
- Activities (emails, calls, meetings) -- optional
- Notes -- optional
An estimated migration time is shown based on your data volume.
Step 3: Map Fields¶
Outsprint auto-matches standard HubSpot fields to their corresponding Outsprint fields. For each HubSpot field, you can:
- Accept the auto-match
- Map to a different Outsprint field
- Create a new custom property in Outsprint
- Skip the field
HubSpot pipelines and stages are also mapped and created automatically, preserving order and probability values.
Step 4: Review and Confirm¶
Review the import summary including record counts, mapped fields, and any skipped fields. Choose your duplicate handling strategy:
- Skip duplicates -- match by email and skip existing records
- Update existing -- overwrite existing records with HubSpot data
- Create all -- import everything, which may create duplicates
Step 5: Import¶
Click Start Import to begin the migration. Progress bars show real-time status for each entity type. Records are imported in dependency order: Companies, then Contacts, then Deals, then Tickets.
Note
You can navigate away during the import. It runs in the background and you will receive a notification when it completes.
After Migration¶
When the import finishes, you will see a summary report:
- Total records imported per entity type
- Failed records with error details
- Custom properties that were created
- Pipelines that were created
Click Download Error Report to get a CSV of any records that failed to import.
Undoing a Migration¶
If you need to reverse the import, you can undo it within 48 hours:
- Go to Settings > Import / Export > Import History
- Find the HubSpot import and click View
- Click Undo import and confirm
This deletes all records created by that import.
Warning
Undoing a migration permanently deletes all imported records and any changes made to them since the import.
