The email preview block displays email messages directly in the chat. You can read, reply to, and forward emails without leaving the conversation.

How It Appears

When you ask about an email or view an email from a timeline, the email preview block shows the full message.

What You See

The email preview includes:

  • Header: From, To, CC fields, subject line, and date
  • Body: The email content, collapsed to approximately 4 lines by default. Click to expand and read the full message.
  • Tracking indicators (for outbound emails):
    • Opened -- Eye icon with timestamp showing when the recipient opened the email
    • Clicked -- Link icon with timestamp showing when a link was clicked

Email Threads

For email conversations with multiple messages, the preview shows an expandable accordion. Each message in the thread can be expanded or collapsed individually.

Actions

The email preview includes action buttons:

  • Reply -- Opens an email compose form in the chat
  • Forward -- Forward the email to another recipient
  • Log to [entity] -- Associate the email with a contact, deal, or company

Note

Email previews show emails synced from your connected Gmail or Outlook account. You need to connect an email account in settings before email data appears.
