Using Natural Language

Using the Form

Run /new deal to open the creation form:

The form includes:

  • Name (required) -- A descriptive name for the deal
  • Amount -- The expected deal value
  • Currency -- Defaults to your organization's currency
  • Pipeline -- Select which pipeline (defaults to your default pipeline)
  • Stage -- Select the starting stage (defaults to the first stage)
  • Close date -- Expected close date (date picker)
  • Priority -- Low, medium, or high
  • Company -- Search for an existing company
  • Contacts -- Search and select multiple contacts
  • Owner -- Defaults to you
  • Custom properties -- Additional fields configured by your team

Click Create Deal to save.

Defaults

When you create a deal:

  • Pipeline defaults to your default deal pipeline
  • Stage defaults to the first stage in the selected pipeline
  • Probability auto-fills from the stage definition (e.g., Prospecting = 10%)
  • Owner defaults to the logged-in user

After Creation

The new deal appears as a deal card in the chat, showing the pipeline progress indicator, amount, stage, and close date. It's immediately visible in the pipeline view.

Pro Tip

Associate contacts and a company when creating the deal. This gives you a complete picture of the opportunity and helps with timeline tracking.
