Creating Deals¶
Create deals through natural language or the inline form to start tracking revenue opportunities.
Using Natural Language¶
Tell the AI about the deal:

Using the Form¶
Run /new deal to open the creation form:
The form includes:
- Name (required) -- A descriptive name for the deal
- Amount -- The expected deal value
- Currency -- Defaults to your organization's currency
- Pipeline -- Select which pipeline (defaults to your default pipeline)
- Stage -- Select the starting stage (defaults to the first stage)
- Close date -- Expected close date (date picker)
- Priority -- Low, medium, or high
- Company -- Search for an existing company
- Contacts -- Search and select multiple contacts
- Owner -- Defaults to you
- Custom properties -- Additional fields configured by your team
Click Create Deal to save.
Defaults¶
When you create a deal:
- Pipeline defaults to your default deal pipeline
- Stage defaults to the first stage in the selected pipeline
- Probability auto-fills from the stage definition (e.g., Prospecting = 10%)
- Owner defaults to the logged-in user
After Creation¶
The new deal appears as a deal card in the chat, showing the pipeline progress indicator, amount, stage, and close date. It's immediately visible in the pipeline view.
Pro Tip
Associate contacts and a company when creating the deal. This gives you a complete picture of the opportunity and helps with timeline tracking.
