Creating a Campaign

Build and send a marketing email campaign to your contact lists.

Campaign builder

Create a New Campaign

  1. Go to Email > Campaigns or say "Create a new campaign" in chat
  2. Enter a campaign name (internal reference only)
  3. Set up each section of the campaign builder
  4. Preview and send

Campaign Builder Sections

Recipients

Select the target list and optionally add an exclusion list:

  • Send to -- Choose a contact list (e.g., "Newsletter Subscribers")
  • Exclude -- Optionally exclude a list (e.g., "Unsubscribed")
  • Outsprint shows the estimated recipient count after exclusions and opt-outs

Sender

Configure who the email appears to come from:

  • From name -- The display name (e.g., "Tom from Acme")
  • From email -- A verified sending domain address
  • Reply to -- Where replies go (usually your personal email)

Content

Write your campaign email:

  • Choose a template as a starting point or start from scratch
  • Use the rich text editor with formatting tools
  • Insert merge fields for personalization
  • Switch to HTML view for advanced formatting
  • Toggle mobile preview to check how it looks on phones

Tracking

  • Track opens -- Enabled by default
  • Track clicks -- Enabled by default

Preview and Send Test

Before sending to your full list, click Send Test to send the campaign to your own email address. The test email uses a sample contact to fill in merge fields.

Send Options

  • Send Now -- Delivers the campaign immediately
  • Schedule -- Pick a future date and time for delivery
