Connecting Outlook

Link your Outlook account to send and receive emails directly from Outsprint. Emails are sent from your actual Outlook address, so recipients see messages coming from you.

Outlook connection settings

Before You Start

You need a Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com account. Your Microsoft admin may need to approve Outsprint as an authorized app if your organization restricts third-party access.

Connect Your Account

  1. Open Settings from the sidebar
  2. Go to Email Connections
  3. Click Connect Outlook
  4. Sign in with your Microsoft account when the OAuth window opens
  5. Review the permissions and click Accept
  6. You are redirected back to Outsprint with your account connected

Once connected, Outsprint begins syncing your recent emails (last 30 days) in the background.

What Gets Synced

  • Sent and received emails involving contacts already in your CRM
  • Attachments under 25 MB (stored securely)
  • Email threads are grouped automatically

What Doesn't Get Synced

  • Emails with no matching contact in the CRM
  • Drafts, spam, and trash
  • Calendar invites

Note

Only emails to or from known contacts are synced. Emails with unrecognized addresses are skipped unless you manually associate them later.

Configure Sync Settings

After connecting, you can adjust sync behavior:

  • Sync frequency -- Choose from every 1, 5, 15, or 30 minutes
  • Auto-associate -- Automatically link emails to matching contacts
  • Track opens -- Enable open tracking on outbound emails by default

Disconnect Outlook

To disconnect, go to Settings > Email Connections and click Disconnect next to your Outlook account. Previously synced emails remain in the CRM.

Warning

Disconnecting stops all future email sync. You will not be able to send emails through Outsprint until you reconnect.
