Email Sequences¶
Email sequences are automated, multi-step email cadences for sales outreach. Each email is sent from your connected Gmail or Outlook account, so they look and feel like personal 1:1 messages.
How Sequences Work¶
A sequence is a series of timed emails sent to a contact over days or weeks. You define the steps, set the timing, and enroll contacts. Outsprint handles the rest.
Here is a typical sequence:
- Day 1 -- Send an introductory email
- Day 4 -- Send a follow-up if no reply
- Day 9 -- Check if the previous email was opened; if yes, send a final follow-up
- Day 11 -- Send a breakup email
Contacts are automatically unenrolled when they reply, bounce, or unsubscribe.
Sequences vs Campaigns¶
| Sequences | Campaigns | |
|---|---|---|
| Sent from | Your Gmail or Outlook | Outsprint sending domain |
| Use case | Sales outreach | Marketing newsletters |
| Recipients | Individual contacts | Entire lists |

Pro Tip
Sequences work best for targeted sales outreach where each email should feel personal. Use campaigns for broad marketing sends.
