Dashboards

Dashboards are grid layouts of saved reports that give you a high-level view of your key metrics at a glance.

How Dashboards Work

A dashboard is a collection of widgets, where each widget displays a saved report as a chart, table, or metric card. You arrange widgets in a grid layout and Outsprint renders them all together.

Create a Dashboard

  1. Go to /reports and click New Dashboard
  2. Enter a dashboard name
  3. Add widgets by selecting from your saved reports
  4. Arrange and resize widgets in the grid layout
  5. Click Save

Dashboard Editor

The dashboard editor provides:

  • Grid layout -- Drag widgets to reposition them
  • Resize -- Adjust widget width and height
  • Add widget -- Select a saved report to add as a new widget
  • Remove widget -- Delete a widget from the dashboard

Default Dashboard

You can set one dashboard as your default. The default dashboard loads when you type /reports or ask to see your metrics.

Share Dashboards

Share a dashboard with your team so everyone has access to the same view. Shared dashboards use the viewer's permissions -- each team member sees only the data they are authorized to access.

Pro Tip

Create separate dashboards for different roles. A sales dashboard focuses on pipeline and revenue. A support dashboard focuses on tickets and SLA compliance.

Responsive Layout

Dashboards adapt to screen size. On mobile, widgets stack in a single column for easy scrolling.
