Lists Overview¶
Lists are groups of contacts used for segmentation, bulk actions, and marketing campaigns. Outsprint supports two types: static lists and dynamic lists.
Static Lists¶
Static lists are manually curated. You add and remove contacts explicitly. The list membership stays the same until you change it.
Use static lists for:
- Event attendees
- Hand-picked outreach targets
- Import groups
- Custom segments that don't follow a filter pattern
Dynamic Lists¶
Dynamic lists auto-update based on filter criteria. Contacts are automatically added or removed as their data changes. You define the rules once, and the list stays current.
Use dynamic lists for:
- All contacts at a specific lifecycle stage
- Contacts tagged with a certain label
- Contacts who haven't been contacted in 30 days
- Any segment defined by filter criteria

You have 4 lists: Enterprise SQLs (34 contacts, dynamic), Q1 Outreach Targets (120 contacts, static), Newsletter Subscribers (890 contacts, static), and At-Risk Customers (12 contacts, dynamic).
You can filter the list view by type: All, Static, or Dynamic.
List Actions¶
From any list, you can:

| Email all | Compose an email to all list members |
| Enroll in sequence | Bulk-enroll members in a sequence |
| Export CSV | Download list members as a CSV file |
| Clone | Duplicate the list |
| Delete | Remove the list (contacts are not deleted) |
Note
Deleting a list removes the grouping only. The contacts themselves are not affected.
