Using Lists

Lists power several features across Outsprint, from email campaigns to bulk actions and reporting.

Using lists

Email Campaigns

Every campaign targets a list. Select a list as your recipient group when creating a campaign, and optionally add an exclusion list.

You
Send a campaign to the Newsletter Subscribers list
Outsprint AI
Starting a new campaign targeting "Newsletter Subscribers" (890 contacts). What would you like to send?

Sequence Enrollment

Enroll an entire list of contacts into an email sequence for automated outreach.

You
Enroll the Q1 Outreach Targets list in the Enterprise Outreach sequence
Outsprint AI
Enrolled 120 contacts from "Q1 Outreach Targets" into Enterprise Outreach.

Bulk Actions

From the list detail view, you can perform actions on all members:

  • Email all -- Compose an email to the entire list using templates and merge fields
  • Export CSV -- Download list members for use in external tools
  • Enroll in sequence -- Start an automated email cadence for all members

Filtering Within a List

When viewing list members, you can apply additional filters to narrow down the view. For example, view only list members who haven't been contacted recently or who are in a specific lifecycle stage.

Lists in Chat

Ask Outsprint about your lists at any time:

You
Show me contacts in Q1 Outreach Targets who haven't been contacted
Outsprint AI
32 contacts in "Q1 Outreach Targets" haven't been contacted in the last 30 days.

Permissions

  • Admins and Managers can create, edit, and delete lists
  • Members can view lists they have access to and add contacts to static lists
  • Dynamic lists respect permission scope -- members with "own records" access only see their own contacts in the list

Pro Tip

Combine dynamic lists with sequences for hands-off outreach. As new contacts match your criteria, add them to the sequence manually or through a workflow.
