Common Issues

Solutions for the most frequently encountered problems in Outsprint.

Page Not Loading or Blank Screen

Symptoms: White screen, infinite loading spinner, or "Something went wrong" error.

Solutions:

  1. Hard-refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac)
  2. Clear your browser cache and cookies for the Outsprint domain
  3. Disable browser extensions that might interfere (ad blockers, privacy tools)
  4. Try an incognito/private browsing window
  5. Ensure you are using a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)

Cannot Log In

Symptoms: Login fails even with correct credentials.

Solutions:

  1. Verify you are using the correct email address
  2. Use the Forgot password link to reset your password
  3. If 2FA is enabled, ensure your authenticator app time is synced correctly
  4. Check if your account has been deactivated -- contact your team admin
  5. If SSO is required, use the SSO login button instead of email/password

Settings Changes Not Saving

Symptoms: You click Save but the changes revert or nothing happens.

Solutions:

  1. Check that you have the required role (many settings require Admin access)
  2. Look for validation errors highlighted on the form
  3. Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  4. Try refreshing the page and making the changes again

Notifications Not Appearing

Symptoms: You are not receiving in-app, email, or Slack notifications.

Solutions:

  1. Check your notification preferences in Settings > Notifications
  2. For email notifications, check your spam/junk folder
  3. For Slack DMs, verify your user mapping in Settings > Connected Apps > Slack
  4. Ensure browser notifications are enabled for the Outsprint domain

Search Not Returning Expected Results

Symptoms: Records you know exist are not appearing in search results.

Solutions:

  1. Check your role's visibility scope -- you may only see records assigned to you or your team
  2. Try different search terms or use the exact email/name
  3. Recently imported records may take a few minutes to appear in search
  4. Verify the record has not been deleted by checking the audit log
